The Families First Coronavirus Response Act Notice is now available for employers.
The notice for Non-Federal Employers can be found at this link.
There is a separate notice for Federal Employers that is available at this link.
Each covered employer subject to the emergency leave provisions under the FFCRA must post the notice in a conspicuous place on the work premises prior to April 1, 2020. A copy of the notice may also be delivered by emailing or direct mailing it to current employees, or posting the notice on an employee information internal or external website. The notice must also be provided to all new hires. The notice may be posted in English only at this time. The DOL is working to translate it to other languages.
If State law mandates additional rules for delivery of important notices to employees, then the employer must follow both Federal and State law.
The Nelson Mullins Labor and Employment and Employee Benefits Groups are available to advise clients with respect to implementation of the FFCRA. For additional information on COVID-19 related issues, please visit the Nelson Mullins COVID-19 resource page or contact a Nelson Mullins attorney.
