Nelson Mullins Partner Amanda Witt Receives Privacy Vanguard Award from Georgia Bar
Nelson Mullins partner, Amanda Witt, received the Privacy and Technology Law Section’s "Vanguard Award" this week from the State Bar of Georgia in recognition of her outstanding service and contributions to the privacy, technology and cybersecurity communities in Georgia. In a heartfelt speech, the award was presented to her by Ms. Christina McCoy, Associate General Counsel and Head of Transactions & Privacy at Innova Solutions, at the end of the first day of the Privacy & Technology Law Forum. Ms. Witt has been involved with the Section for over 20 years and previously served as Chair of the Section.
Ms. Witt, who rejoined the firm last year, focuses her practice in the areas of U.S. and global privacy, technology-related transactions, international and domestic commercial transactions, AI, IoT, cybersecurity, e-commerce, cross-border transactions, outsourcing, licensing and procurement, strategic alliances, software development and licensing, and SaaS services. Amanda is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) and (CIPP/E). She is also the current Chair of the International Section of the Georgia Bar.
