Ron is a senior policy advisor at the firm with an expansive and diverse professional background. Ron served four consecutive terms as a representative for the 4th Congressional District of Pennsylvania where he acquired firsthand knowledge of federal legislative procedures and learned the ins and outs of Washington, D.C.

Ron was also the Democratic nominee for the U.S. Senate in 2000. Prior to being a Congressman, Ron was a fixture in the Pittsburgh area as an award-winning news anchor/reporter on KDKA-TV with the highest rated prime time newscast in the market. Throughout his time at the firm Ron has solved problems in the billions of dollars relating to federal and state banking issues, sometimes solving problems in days or weeks instead of years.

As a representative for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Ron secured funding for Fort Indiantown Gap to build a security fence and additional security measures. He has worked to bring billions of additional dollars to the 13 Appalachian states and successfully secured hundreds of millions of dollars for the Appalachian Regional Highway Project with the promise of completion by 2031. Ron successfully represented iRobot to secure funding for their military battlefield robots along with other military contracts that span over a decade.

Additionally, Ron led an effort with organized labor and the pharmaceutical industry to uphold U.S. patent protections in trade negotiations with other countries. Ron was also partially responsible for the lobbying effort that resulted in Comcast acquiring NBC and Universal Studios in one of the largest media, cable, and entertainment mergers ever.
