Brittany focuses her practice on representing individuals and entities in a wide range of complex and high-stakes commercial litigation disputes in state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration. Brittany has experience representing private and public companies in a variety of general business disputes, including breach of contract claims, shareholder and governance issues, breaches of fiduciary duties, negligence, and fraud actions. Brittany also maintains a practice in probate and fiduciary matters arising out of estates, trusts, and guardianships, and handles an assortment of real estate-related disputes, such as landlord-tenant issues, evictions, construction claims, and mechanic’s liens.

  • Represented a company defending claims asserted against it by a shareholder for access to books and records under the Texas Business Organizations Code.
  • Successfully defended five employees against claims brought by former employer alleging breaches of fiduciary duties, conspiracy, and misappropriation of trade secret claims.
  • Successfully represented a development company in an arbitration proceeding to remove a $500,000 mechanic's lien recorded by a contractor against the property.
