As outside legal counsel, Christina Lehm advises U.S. and international companies in complex business disputes and represents clients through all stages of litigation in state and federal courts and in arbitration.

A significant part of Christina’s work involves advising European companies and their U.S. subsidiaries on the legal and practical risks of doing business in the United States. She helps clients understand and manage issues relating to U.S. litigation risk, contract disputes, governance, parent-subsidiary dynamics, dispute prevention, and the differences between European and U.S. legal systems.

Christina’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, including partnership disputes, breach of contract claims, unfair and deceptive trade practices, tortious interference, civil RICO claims, and other business disputes. She also defends Civil False Claims Act cases brought by alleged whistleblowers and has represented clients in federal litigation involving highly regulated industries, including healthcare providers and healthcare clinics.

Clients value Christina’s ability to serve as a central point of contact throughout a dispute, from early strategy and risk assessment through trial, appeal, or resolution. She works closely with executives, in-house counsel, U.S. subsidiaries, European parent companies, and outside advisors to help clients evaluate risk and make informed business decisions.

A native of Denmark, Christina began her career in business in Europe before moving to the United States and later pursuing a career in law. Her European background allows her to bridge cultural and legal differences for international companies operating in the U.S. market. Before becoming a lawyer, she worked in the corporate fashion and retail industries in New York and Denmark, helping international brands establish and expand their retail presence in the United States.

Christina regularly writes and speaks on U.S. legal risk for European companies, including market entry, scaling, governance, contracts, litigation, and dispute prevention.
