New York -- Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP represented Canacol Energy Ltd., a Canadian public company and the largest independent natural gas producer in Colombia, in connection with the US$500 million private offering of 5.75% Senior Notes due 2028 pursuant to Rule 144A and Regulation S. Citigroup Global Markets Inc. and Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC acted as Global Coordinators and Joint Book-Running Managers and Citibank, N.A., acted as trustee.
The transaction also involved a tender offer purchase and the consent solicitation of Canacol’s previously outstanding $320MM 7.25% Senior Notes due in 2025.
