Family offices are emerging as influential new players on Wall Street. Nelson Mullins partner Hendrik Jordaan was recently quoted in The Wall Street Journal discussing the rapid rise of wealthy Americans establishing family offices to manage substantial assets.

“It’s not just growing, it’s exploding,” said Jordaan, who works exclusively with family offices. “I really think about the family office world being the next private equity.”

His comments follow the recent launch of Nelson Mullins’ Family Office Investment Transactions practice, led by Jordaan alongside Eamon Welch.
