Representative Matters

  • Represented ArtCap Strategies in its capacity as sole lead arranger and administrative agent in connection with USD 120 million international syndicated loan facility for Grupo Telconet to support its next-generation subsea cable system designed to enhance digital connectivity across Ecuador, Panama, Colombia, and the United States.
  • Represent Canacol Energy Ltd. in connection with in-court restructuring and DIP financing.
  • Represented one of the world’s largest solar developers, in connection with the financing and sale of a 500 MW portfolio of utility scale solar projects in the US.
  • Represent a private credit fund in connection with a cross-border secured loan of up to USD 40 million to Island Finance Trinidad & Tobago.
  • Represented Canacol Energy Ltd. In connection with a $75 million senior secured loan facility with Macquarie Group Ltd.
  • Represented a US developer in connection with the acquisition and development of an LNG terminal in Western Europe.
  • Represented an American private equity sponsor and a South Africa–based borrower in connection with development and project financing of a wind project in South Africa, with a capital cost of more than $50 million.
  • Represented the Administrative Agent and various European banks in the “take–back–the–keys” restructuring of the Pocahontas Parkway toll road in Virginia, which includes the Route 895 Connector and an approximately 1.58 mile, four– lane roadway with direct access to the Richmond International Airport known as the Richmond Airport Connector.
  • Represented an affiliate of a Spanish public multinational solar energy company in connection with the multiple solar projects in the US.
  • Represented a solar energy equipment supplier as project counsel and its managing member, in connection with its acquisition of equity in and the development, construction, financing, and operation of a 183-megawatt portfolio of wind farms under long–term power purchase agreements with local power company.
  • Represented a major solar power developer and solar panel manufacturer in connection with the acquisition of an approximately 300 megawatt (AC) solar energy production facility project located in California.
  • Represented of U.S. branch of a German wind turbine manufacturer and project developer in connection with the development and sale to an American nuclear electric power generation company as first phase of 300-megawatt wind project in Michigan.
