Commenting on the challenges facing European banks, Schoenhuber stated, "The smaller banks don't have the resources, they don't have the capacities to stay compliant with all this regulation so that they can still make money. There's this layer of European Union regulations now, or regulatory framework, that makes it more and more difficult and more and more burdensome to really make it worth it in the end."
