Tom has represented several clients in the pharmaceutical industry as national and trial counsel for more than 30 years in various litigations, including as national trial counsel in product liability, qui tam, and anti-trust litigation. He has worked closely with many companies in risk assessment and litigation management, as well as the defense of thousands of individual product liability actions.

Tom also serves as national counsel for a U.S. equipment manufacturer in catastrophic injury product liability litigation. As national trial counsel for the company, Tom has tried more than 30 catastrophic injury actions in numerous states across the country. These cases have involved allegations of defective designs, inadequate warnings, or failure to meet appropriate standards of care.

Tom has also been involved in the defense of toxic tort litigations, including commercial consumer products additives, solvent exposures, carbon monoxide, talc, and lead paint exposure, as well as exposure to many other chemicals and pesticides. Tom has directed the defense of hundreds of toxic tort and product liability actions and tried numerous toxic exposure cases to verdict.
