With a foundation in electrical engineering, Edward brings a practical, analytical approach that ties every... IP decision to measurable business impact. He works closely with clients to design and execute strategies that not only safeguard innovation, but also strengthen market position and open new revenue opportunities. His experience spans patent prosecution, portfolio development and management, freedom-to-operate and landscape analyses, clearance assessments, and preparation of non-infringement and invalidity opinions.

Edward combines his technical and strategic insight with the firm’s full-service national platform, giving clients seamless access to IP litigation, licensing, corporate, and regulatory capabilities. Before entering the legal profession, he worked as a research and design engineer in electrical and optical technologies, including reverse-engineering sensors for use in patent infringement analysis.
