With more than two decades of experience in the policy and political arenas, Jennifer’s practice focuses on federal government relations and political law matters. Previously, Jennifer served as a senior legislative aide to Members of Congress, as a presidential appointee in the Office of the Secretary, Department of Housing and Urban Development, and director of a major donor program, chaired by Rep. John Dingell (D-MI), at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.
On Capitol Hill, she was responsible for healthcare and tax matters, legislative strategy, and the development of policy positions. With this experience, Jennifer’s government relations practice concentrates on complex legislative and regulatory matters facing healthcare providers and systems including the 340B Drug Pricing Program, Medicare, Medicaid, biomedical research, and tax policy. She also represents government relations clients on other legislative and regulatory issues, including appropriations, election law, environment, and trade.
In her political law practice, Jennifer regularly advises and assists healthcare companies and other businesses, 501(c) organizations, and political committees in navigating complex federal, state, and local campaign finance and lobbying requirements, as well as governmental ethics rules.
