Three Nelson Mullins attorneys were nominated to participate in two 2024 Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) programs. Miami-based partner Francisco Armada was named a LCLD Fellow, and Dallas of counsel Tracy Kambobe and Atlanta associate Anish Patel were both selected for the LCLD Pathfinder program.
LCLD Fellows have distinguished themselves within their organizations by being deeply engaged, indispensable to key clients and teams, invested in attorney mentoring and professional development, and on a trajectory toward leadership positions. The LCLD Fellows participate in training sessions and are given opportunities to interact with managing partners from the country’s most prestigious law firms as well as key legal and business leaders of large U.S. corporations.
“It’s an honor to be nominated as a LCLD Fellow,” said Armada. “This program is remarkable and has produced some of the most prominent leaders in our industry year after year. I look forward to what the future will bring and cannot wait to dive in.”
The Pathfinder participants are identified as early-career emerging leaders who have distinguished, or show the potential to distinguish, themselves within their organizations. The Pathfinder program is designed to connect and train high-potential, early-career attorneys from diverse backgrounds with foundational leadership skills and relationship-building resources. It runs for seven months.
“I am thrilled to be nominated for the Pathfinder program,” Kambobe said. “It’s an incredible opportunity to engage with our industry’s most talented attorneys. I am hopeful my participation will prepare me to navigate the many challenges to DE&I and further my career in more ways than one.”
“It is exciting to be part of the Pathfinder program, which provides the chance to learn from so many distinguished members and leaders in our industry,” said Patel. “I am committed to getting the most out of this program and look forward to establishing meaningful connections with professionals dedicated to matters of diversity, equity and inclusion.”
