BOSTON – Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP welcomes distinguished attorneys Brandon Bigelow and William Benson to its Litigation practice group in Boston. Both attorneys join the firm from Seyfarth Shaw and bring more than 20 years of litigation experience handling complex commercial matters, including business and contract disputes, antitrust, franchise and distribution litigation, and products liability.

Bigelow, who joins Nelson Mullins as a partner, advises manufacturers, suppliers, and franchisors on antitrust and distribution issues and represents those companies in litigation when unavoidable disputes arise. He also counsels trade associations, manufacturers, and other companies on compliance issues and in litigation arising under state and federal competition laws. He serves as a vice chair of the Distribution and Franchise Committee of the American Bar Association Antitrust Law Section.
Benson joins the firm in an of counsel role focused on business litigation, particularly in the automotive and manufacturing industries. He has a proven track record of handling disputes involving exclusive use agreements, rights of first refusal, incentive programs, and warranty reimbursement. He also manages disputes for motor vehicle manufacturers involving the establishment, relocation, and termination of dealerships in courts throughout the U.S. and before administrative agencies.
