CBurke Legal led by Carol Burke, in collaboration with Nelson Mullins, represented Flatrock Compression Holdings LLC in its acquisition by Natural Gas Services Group, Inc. (NYSE: NGS) in a transaction valued at approximately $120 million. The consideration consisted of $110 million in cash and $10 million in newly issued NGS common stock.

Flatrock is a leading provider of rental natural gas compression services with operations throughout the Permian Basin and Eagle Ford.

Founded in 2001, Flatrock operates a rental fleet of approximately 86,000 horsepower, including a significant concentration of large-horsepower and electric motor-driven compression units. The acquisition enhances Natural Gas Services Group's presence in key shale basins, expands its customer base, and adds complementary compression assets to its rental fleet.
