Nelson Mullins West Virginia office managing partner Marc Williams has been appointed to the state's Judicial Vacancy Advisory Commission.
West Virginia Gov. Patrick Morrisey announced the appointment of Williams and two other attorneys from a list of candidates submitted by the West Virginia State Bar. Williams will serve in Huntington, Cabell County. His term will run through June 30, 2031.
Williams handles complex litigation nationwide and has served as lead counsel in more than 100 jury trials and appeals. His practice includes trial and appellate work in privacy and data breach litigation, class and collective actions, attorney general litigation, product liability cases, and complex commercial disputes.
The Judicial Vacancy Advisory Commission consists of four attorneys and four non-attorneys. Its role is to assist the governor in filling judicial vacancies.
