Partner Hendrik Jordaan Quoted in Dallas Morning News Article on the Growing Influence of Family Offices

Nelson Mullins partner Hendrik Jordaan was quoted in a Dallas Morning News article examining the growing influence of family offices in North Texas and the ways ultra high-net-worth families are increasingly using these private organizations to manage and grow their wealth.

The article explores how family offices have evolved beyond managing personal affairs and administrative matters to become sophisticated investment platforms, providing wealthy families with access to private equity, direct investments, real estate, technology, artificial intelligence, energy, and other emerging industries.

Jordaan highlighted the unique concentration of family offices in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, particularly at Old Parkland, an exclusive Dallas campus that has become a hub for the industry.

“You’ve got this concentration in a really safe, sophisticated private setting of families that is truly unique,” said Jordaan. He added that Old Parkland “galvanized this new emerging asset class in a way that I haven’t seen anywhere in the world.”
