Nelson Mullins partner Lucie Cohen will be speaking at the 2021 Advanced E-Discovery Institute in Washington, D.C. Cohen's panel, "ESI Storage Matters: Why I Wish We Did Not Chat Anymore," will explore practical aspects of how to design multi-jurisdictional policies in the space between privacy, cybersecurity, and the EDRM model. Co-presenting with Cohen are Stacey Blaustein, Litigation Counsel, IBM; Sarah Knight, Lead Counsel - Privacy, Cybersecurity, and Information Governance, Gilead Sciences; and Phil Favro, eDiscovery and InfoGov Consultant, Driven, Inc.
Cohen is a leader with Encompass, the Nelson Mullins e-discovery practice group and serves as discovery counsel to clients in complex litigation matters and government investigations, developing discovery response strategies, negotiating ESI protocols and other discovery orders, and advocating on behalf of clients regarding scope of discovery, burden issues, and culling and search methodologies.
The 2021 Advanced E-Discovery Institute is an annual gathering to make connections and explore cutting-edge content in technology, e-discovery, privacy, cross-border discovery and data protection, and cybersecurity.
