Attorney Travis Bustamante and Evan Benjamin, production administrator for Encompass, spoke Nov. 20 on using e-discovery in litigation and how law students can use these skills to distinguish themselves in their career at a recent “Lunch and Learn” at Duke University School of Law. The Duke Law Judicial Studies Center hosted an hour-long seminar for their students, featuring e-discovery. Nelson Mullins served as a co-sponsor for this event, which was designed to convince law students that the electronic discovery field needs them and that firms, such as Nelson Mullins, can benefit from their skill set. Duke Law sought to highlight the growth potential of e-discovery and its promising future. Recent research predicts a 15 percent increase in the e-discovery sector over the next five years.
