  • Successfully represented one of the largest social media and advertising companies against one of its former executives residing in South America in a federal court lawsuit involving restrictive covenant, Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, and Defend Trade Secrets Act claims  
  • Defended an alleged Madoff Ponzi scheme feeder fund in a conservatorship involving claims for breach of fiduciary duty, negligence, and fraud
  • Obtained a final judgment confirming an arbitration award in favor of a leading audio device company on claims for breach of contract and misappropriation of trade secrets against its former business partner and world–famous hip hop artist
  • Advised general counsel for a Fortune 100 media production and distribution company in connection with the successful representation of its subsidiary in a federal restrictive covenant and trade secret lawsuit
  • Obtained reversal of a temporary injunction against a biomedical company for alleged misappropriation of trade secrets relating to the chemical cleaning protocol for cadaver tissue used in human transplants and other surgeries
  • Successfully defended a Fortune 500 financial services company against multi–million dollar claims for fraud and deceptive and unfair trade practices in state and federal courts and arbitrations
  • Defended one of the largest real estate brokerages in a lawsuit alleging contamination by heavy metals and undetonated ordinance on a former military bombing range
  • Represented owners and the general contractor in a  construction lien foreclosure, breach of contract and construction defect lawsuit against a subcontractor relating to two $20 million custom–designed, luxury waterfront residences
  • Successfully represented a subcontractor against claims of water intrusion and other construction defects on dozens of houses in a planned unit development
  • Represented a local bank to successfully perfect its first mortgage lien on commercial property subject to a federal court forfeiture action
  • Obtained prejudicial dismissal of claims for fraudulent and negligent inducement on behalf of a regional home developer in a lawsuit over a land banking transaction
  • Recovered a final judgment on behalf of a real estate developer in a lawsuit involving civil theft and breach of fiduciary duty claims against its former managing member
  • As lead trial counsel for a real estate investment trust, obtained a final judgment following a bench trial of its breach of contract claim against a former tenant, and successfully defended the tenant’s counterclaim
  • Represented former officers and directors against claims of negligence and breach of fiduciary duty in  the receivership of a liquidated insurance company
  • Defended an insurance underwriting agency in a breach of contract lawsuit by its former policy services administrator
  • Successfully defended a real estate development company against a claim for advancement of attorneys’ fees and costs by a former manager
  • Represented a foreign telecommunications company in a federal court action involving fraud, RICO, civil conspiracy and other claims against a former employee and his co–conspirators
  • Represented a reinsurance brokerage firm and affiliated companies in a professional negligence action against an outside auditor
  • Successfully represented a citrus grower and affiliated parties to resolve a commercial foreclosure and breach of contract lawsuit brought by one of the largest providers of food and agricultural financing
