- Represented industrial and commercial clients in a range of matters, including intellectual property litigation, disputes over trade secrets and restrictive covenants, as well construction defect litigation, and insurance coverage litigation
Representative Matters
- For almost two decades, has litigated cases involving a variety of products in federal and state courts throughout the country, including medical devices, pharmaceuticals, low speed vehicles, construction equipment, consumer appliances, plastic polymers, and cosmetics.
- Served as trial counsel in dozens of cases remanded to both federal district courts in Michigan and both federal district courts in Ohio from a 10,000 case Multi-District Litigation Proceeding in Arizona federal court (2019–22).
- Member of trial team that forced settlement on favorable terms in the middle of a three-week medical device trial in Montana federal court (February 2023) related to inferior vena cava filters for prevention of pulmonary embolism.
- Member of trial team that forced settlement on favorable terms in the middle of a two-week medical device trial in Tennessee federal court (October 2021) related to inferior vena cava filters for prevention of pulmonary embolism.
- Member of trial team that obtained complete defense verdict in four-week medical device trial in California federal court in (August 2021) related to inferior vena cava filters for prevention of pulmonary embolism.
- Served on national coordinating counsel team in multi-district medical device litigation. (2015–2020).
- Obtained complete summary judgment in medical device case in Michigan federal court (July 2021).
- Obtained complete summary judgment of premises liability, false imprisonment, and racial discrimination claims in Georgia federal court (August 2021).
