  • Obtained reversal by the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit of a lower court ruling that his developer client has chosen its remedy, thereby precluding monetary damages, when it initially sought specific performance in a construction-related contract dispute. 
  • Obtained Summary Judgment on behalf of a local educational institution in a Federal Court Title IX matter. 
  • Represented national insurance carrier in over seventy simultaneous matters involving underinsured motorist claim plaintiffs in federal court in southern West Virginia. 
  • Member of the trial team obtaining a complete defense verdict on behalf of an extended care living facility client and related corporate clients after a three-week jury trial in state court in northern West Virginia. 
  • Member of the trial team obtaining a complete defense verdict on behalf of a motor vehicle dealership in a premises liability matter in state court in southeastern Kentucky.
