Experience

The following is a selected sampling of matters and is provided for informational purposes only. Past success does not indicate the likelihood of success in any future matter.

  • Served as first chair trial counsel during a five-day federal race discrimination, retaliation and FMLA jury trial in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania involving a large, public state-related university.
  • Served as solo counsel during a three-day age discrimination arbitration involving a large loan servicing company.
  • Served as solo trial counsel during a New Jersey state bench trial involving conversion and other claims, obtaining a favorable verdict via motion for judgment.
  • Obtained summary judgment on behalf of a regional bank in Georgia involving age and gender discrimination. Judgment was affirmed by the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals after briefings.
  • Successfully defended Fortune 500 retail company in numerous single plaintiff lawsuits involving discrimination and retaliation, including race discrimination, age discrimination, disability discrimination, and hostile work environment.
  • Successfully defended a large national manufacturing company in a lawsuit involving disability discrimination and failure to accommodate claims.
  • Successfully defended a large, international automaker supplier in an OSHA retaliation complaint and a corresponding OSHA investigation into claims involving retaliatory termination for complaints regarding safety and other workplace hazards.
  • Federal employment litigation experience exceeds 250 cases, and counting, plus numerous claims brought and resolved at the EEOC level, pre-litigation, and other applicable venues.
  • Conducted internal investigations into discrimination and harassment claims brought by former and current employees on behalf of Fortune 500 companies and other large, multinational, and national employers.
