COLUMBIA – South Carolina Lawyers Weekly announced two Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP Columbia partners have been named an “Icon” and “Phenom.” Scott Moïse was selected as an “Icon” for her legal work, while Charles West, Jr. was named a “Phenom.”
Moïse practices in the areas of insurance coverage and bad faith, products liability defense, and appellate law.
West is a litigator who focuses his practice on pharmaceutical and medical device litigation, product liability, and e-discovery and information governance.
Honorees are selected by a panel of judges on the editorial and leadership teams who seek to choose honorees based on professional achievements, bar leadership, community service, pro bono work, and mentoring. Those who were selected as a “Phenom” are accomplished in their field and have shown they have promising legal careers ahead of them. More than 30 people were selected as honorees for this recognition.
An event recognizing all honorees will be held on July 20, 2023, at the Hilton Charlotte University Place in Charlotte, North Carolina.
