Scott has authored “The Scrivener” column for the South Carolina Lawyer Magazine for over 20 years, and her extensive experience and dedication to teaching legal writing earned her two South Carolina Law Review Distinguished Alumni Awards, as well as recognition as the G. Dewey Oxner, Jr. Mentor of the Year in 2015. She currently serves on the South Carolina Board of Governors and works as an adjunct faculty member at the University of South Carolina School of Law.
