WASHINGTON, D.C. – Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP, a national law firm with offices coast to coast, welcomes seasoned lobbyist Jake Kohn to the firm’s government relations practice. Kohn joins the Washington, D.C. office as a senior policy advisor. He is the second lobbyist to join the firm since February.

With a background in political law and policy, Kohn serves as an advocate for clients across various sectors and industries. Most recently, Kohn was the vice president at Lobbyit where he led the company’s efforts in the healthcare, workforce development, and transportation sectors. With almost a decade of experience overseeing strategic partnerships, federal funding opportunities, and government relations for national organizations, private companies, and nonprofits, Kohn is skilled in navigating complex regulatory landscapes. He has established relationships with industry leaders, NGOs, and stakeholders around the world, as well as those on Capitol Hill.

Kohn received his undergraduate degree from Yeshiva University in New York, New York and earned a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School.
