Nelson Mullins is proud to recognize Richard Milian, Lacey Corona, and Robert Alfert for their key roles in supporting the Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA) in launching the Neighborhood Autonomous Vehicle Innovation (NAVI) program—the first public transit service in the U.S.-powered by autonomous vehicles.
Through their collaboration with JTA and its project partners, Milian, Corona and Alfert played essential roles in bringing this innovative mobility solution to life. Their involvement was instrumental in the planning, implementation, and rollout of this service, marking a significant milestone in urban transit.
NAVI operates along the 3.5-mile Bay Street Innovation Corridor in downtown Jacksonville, connecting residents and visitors to key cultural, business, and entertainment destinations. The service is powered by a fleet of electric, ADA-accessible autonomous vehicles and is free to the public through Sept. 30, 2025.
