This funding will support SK hynix’s manufacturing project in West Lafayette, Indiana, where the company plans to invest $3.87 billion to build a memory packaging plant for artificial intelligence (AI) products and an advanced packaging fabrication and R&D facility.

In addition to Shin, partners David Yang, Jay Suhr, Will Gaines, Shane Gunter, senior policy advisor Justin Meyers, and associate Olivia Kim provided key assistance to SK hynix in the transaction, which closed in December 2024.
