Nelson Mullins partner Eric Wilensky represented Braves Development Company in the acquisition of Pennant Park in Atlanta. The transaction closed on April 1. Wilensky led the deal team with the assistance of partner Kate Lewis, associates Rob Secrist and Taylor Stein, paralegal Maysen Rollins and practice assistant Sofia Rosas.
Pennant Park is a six-building office complex on approximately 34 acres of land, located across Interstates 75 and 285 from the Atlanta Braves’ home field, Truist Park, and their mixed-use entertainment district, The Battery Atlanta. The complex contains 763,465 square feet of office space anchored by The Home Depot and other major companies, along with 2,699 parking spaces and extensive tenant amenities. The Braves’ acquisition of Pennant Park expanded the organization’s land footprint in the area by over 30%, unlocking immediate business benefits and long-term redevelopment potential in a thriving part of Atlanta.
