COLUMBIA, S.C. – The University of South Carolina School of Law awarded Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP Greenville Partner Miles Coleman with its 2019 Compleat Lawyer Award at a ceremony on April 4, 2019. He is one of nine recipients to receive the honor this year.
Established in 1992, the Compleat Lawyer Award is the law school’s highest recognition of professional achievement and civic leadership. Honorees are nominated by members of the South Carolina Bar or the public, and are selected by a committee that includes the Chief Justice of the state Supreme Court, the chief judge of the South Carolina Court of Appeals, the president of the South Carolina Bar, the dean of the law school, and the co-chair of the Law School Alumni Council.
Coleman graduated cum laude from the law school in 2009. He practices in the areas of appellate law, business litigation, and First Amendment law. He is also an NFL Players Association certified agent.
