ATLANTA – Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough Atlanta associate Amy B. Cheng has been invited to join the Lamar American Inn of Court as a Barrister. The Lamar American Inn of Court is affiliated with her alma mater, Emory University School of Law.
The Lamar American Inn of Court is based on the British Inns of Court. It is designed to bring together Pupils (Emory Law Students) with Barristers (members with 3-9 years of practice experience), Masters (members with 10+ years of practice experience), and Judges with a focus on litigation. Its members include lawyers who are in private practice to those working for mid- to large-sized firms, as well as public defenders, prosecutors, public interest attorneys, and judges. The Inn serves as a forum for collegiality and mentoring as well as honing the litigation knowledge and skills of its members.
Cheng is excited by this opportunity and looks forward to working with Pupils, other Barristers, Masters, and Judges so that she can continue to hone her litigation skills.
At Nelson Mullins, Cheng practices in the areas of labor and employment, commercial litigation, and white collar defense and government investigations.
