In an article published on Aug. 24, Nelson Mullins partner and Gaming Industry Group chair Katherine Guarino Baker shared her insight on the U.S. sports betting industry as new states, such as North Carolina, continue to expand the legal wagering landscape, and how artificial intelligence may become the focus in the near future.
"Over the next 3-5 years, I can see the sports betting industry focusing on incorporating AI technology to enhance the customer experience," Baker told the outlet. "I think we’ll also see more omnichannel offerings, (such as) adding media and retail elements and other fan engagement tools to sports betting platforms and tying everything back to attendance at live sporting event."
