New Stark Exception, Safe Harbor Lets Hospitals Pay for Physicians' Mental Health Care

A new statutory exemption will allow healthcare entities to provide necessary assistance to physicians and medical personnel who are dealing with mental health issues and substance use disorders (SUD) without violating the Stark Law and Anti-Kickback Statute (AKS).
