Nelson Mullins partners Ed White and Mike Segal, joined by the Director of Strategy at Pinnacle Healthcare Kelly Conroy, will participate in a webinar hosted by Florida Association of Accountable Care Organizations (FLAACOs). The topic of the webinar will be "Using the New CMS and OIG Stark and Anti-Kickback Revisions with Value Based Enterprises: How to Achieve Greater Savings for your ACO". Their discussion will focus on new creative and potentially profitable opportunities for your ACO that have become available as a result of recent revisions to the CMS and OIG Stark and Anti-Kickback laws. These revisions, which became effective in late 2020, allow for the creation of a new type of entity called a “value based enterprise” (VBE). During this webinar you will learn about the new ACO REACH program. You will also learn about VBEs, how you can create one, and the ability to structure profitable joint ventures and relationships as part of or related to your ACO.
