  • Provides a multidisciplinary approach to business transactions combining his accounting and tax background into a corporate practice
  • Has advised clients in business transactions, including organizational and operational matters for business entities, drafting contracts, employment agreements, handling the acquisition and disposition of business interests, mergers, acquisitions, structuring partnerships, joint ventures, and other strategic relationships
  • Has provided advice to both proprietary and nonprofit organization on corporate and tax matters
  • Has counseled clients on a wide range of corporate, tax, employment, and regulatory issues that affect healthcare transactions, including navigating issues that implicate the Stark law, the Anti-kickback statute, and other Medicare and Medicaid laws that affect healthcare transactions
  • Represented accountable care organizations, clinical integration networks and worked with providers in creating value-based enterprises, risk bearing organizations, value-based contracts, arrangements, and joint ventures
  • Represented hospitals in the formation and operation of integrated hospital and physician delivery systems, joint venture relationships, and other hospital/physician transactions
  • Represented physician practices in structuring mergers, consolidations, acquisitions, joint ventures, contractual agreements, and strategic affiliations with hospitals and other healthcare providers
