            The Pro Bono Roadshow
A Free Professionalism CLE
Hosted by: U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, Atlanta Chapter of the Federal Bar Association
Atlanta partner Elisa Kodish will moderate "The Pro Bono Roadshow," a free, one-hour professionalism CLE taking place in person at the Richard B. Russell Federal Building on Aug. 4. The event will explore the application of Georgia's professionalism statements — A Lawyer's Creed and The Aspirational Statement on Professionalism — to a domestic violence/pro bono setting. Kodish will facilitate a discussion of the benefits that flow from public interest work and the various opportunities available for volunteers.
With opening remarks by Chief U.S. District Judge Timothy Batten, panel members include:
- 11th Circuit Judge Jill Pryor
- U.S. Magistrate Judge Catherine Salinas
- Georgia Legal Services Program Attorney Vicky Kimbrell
Kodish is a 20-year litigation partner for Nelson Mullins' Atlanta office and supports the firm’s public interest and pro bono commitments. She is Past President of the Board of Directors of Atlanta Legal Aid Society and an adjunct professor at Emory University School of Law.
