Continuing the FinTech University series, join the chair of Nelson Mullins FinTech and Regulation Practice, Richard Levin, and wealth preservation attorney Jonathan Gopman for this one-hour session, "Tax Planning Strategies." Levin will moderate. Gopman will co-present with Private Life Solutions founder and managing director Elizabeth Keenan. Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit will be sought for all attorneys who request such and certificates of attendance are available for CPE purposes. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.
Levin chairs the firm's FinTech and Regulation Practice. He advises clients on corporate, FinTech, securities, and regulatory issues.
Gopman focuses on sophisticated wealth accumulation and preservation planning strategies for entrepreneurs. He assists them with their personal and business planning needs at all phases of the wealth accumulation and preservation cycle. In his practice, he takes a four-part approach to wealth preservation planning by assisting individuals in implementing sophisticated estate planning, tax deferral, tax-favored investment, and asset protection structures.
Keenan became interested in private placement financial structures that eliminate taxation on assets when she sat in on a meeting to discuss such instruments. Intrigued by the possibilities that these tax-eliminating custom plans can offer, she dedicated herself to learning more and developed a passion for this niche of strategic wealth planning.
