Organized by the Qui Tam Section of the Federal Bar Association, Nelson Mullins Charleston partner Bart Daniel will join a virtual panel of presenters on April 19 to discuss American military spending since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, and what this means for future legal concerns.
The panel of legal professionals all come from a diverse legal background, adding different perspectives on matters such as replacing American military supplies that were sent to Ukraine’s aid, the increased military spending as it relates to healthcare spending, concerns of fraud surrounding greed, and new cases that could be brought against government military contractors.
Daniel is a first-chair veteran trial lawyer and is a past president for the National Association of Former United States Attorneys. He focuses his practice at Nelson Mullins on both False Claims Act and white-collar litigation, along with government and internal investigations.
The Qui Tam Section of the Federal Bar Association was created in 2015 and now has over 400 members from a variety of different legal practice areas. The section serves to provide those involved in the False Claims Act and other whistleblower statutes with educational and networking opportunities.
