Atlanta associates Amanda Sheneman and David Weinstein served as panelists at the ULI Atlanta’s Young Leaders Group Nuts & Bolts workshop covering LOI’s and Purchase Agreements. The program offered a practical guide to working with letters of intent in commercial real estate transactions and common risks to avoid. The program also covered issues involved in the purchase and sale of commercial real estate and unique issues that are commonly negotiated by real estate practitioners. According to the organization, the Nuts and Bolts program is a series of educational workshops hosted by ULI’s Young Leaders Group and targeted at real estate professionals 35 and under. Through the workshops, real estate professionals provide an overview of real estate topics from the diverse fields represented by ULI’s member base, including real estate development, management, consulting and design & engineering.
Sheneman has experience with a variety of complex commercial real estate and leasing transactions in a wide range of sectors including multi-family, retail, mixed-use, industrial and office. She regularly counsel national clients in the acquisition and development of multi-family properties, as well as landlords and tenants in the preparation and negotiation of office and retail leases across the nation. Weinstein focuses his practice on real estate with a concentration in commercial development, zoning, land use, and leasing. He has experience representing private equity firms, developers, retailers, landlords, and tenants in completing leasing transactions, acquisitions, dispositions, and development projects.
