Technological advances, coupled with the expansion of insurance coverage through the Affordable Care Act, have pushed telemedicine to the forefront of healthcare delivery systems. But these trends bring a variety of legal and operational challenges to the conversation. Healthcare attorney Patricia A. Markus, a partner in Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP’s Raleigh office, will discuss these challenges during a panel session at the N.C. Bar Association’s Health Law Section Annual Meeting on Friday, April 28 at the N.C. Bar Center in Cary.
