Nelson Mullins life sciences partners Carrie Hanger and Jennifer Mallory will present on the ethics and mechanics of informed consent in research involving genomics, pre-clinical results and the risk of death on Tuesday, June 5 during the Heath Care Compliance Association Research Compliance Conference in Austin, Texas.
Ms. Hanger focuses her practice on advising healthcare providers and entities engaged in clinical research. With a decade of experience, she routinely counsels clients on licensure and certification, enrollment and reimbursement, accreditation, certificate of need, regulatory and compliance issues, risk management, professional liability, medical staff matters, and business disputes.
Ms. Mallory practices in the areas of FDA counseling, compliance, and clinical research, and holds Graduate Certificates in Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Law and Compliance: FDA Regulation and Liability, and Clinical Research and the Law from Seton Hall University School of Law. For three years, Mallory served as IRB member regarding industry-sponsored studies for the Medical University of South Carolina. Her clients include hospitals, research centers, and drug and medical device companies.
