FLAACOs 2022 Annual Conference

The event will feature dynamic speakers, breakout sessions led by top healthcare visionaries, and networking session with industry peers & leaders. Healthcare partners Ed White and Mike Segal will participate in a panel discussion title, "Health Equity - VBC Realizing Equity, Access and Community Health. Will it really impact the benchmark?"

Ed counsels clients on a wide range of corporate, tax, employment, and regulatory issues that affect healthcare transactions, including navigating issues that implicate the Stark law, the Anti-kickback statute, and other Medicare and Medicaid laws that affect healthcare transactions. He has represented accountable care organizations, clinical integration networks, and worked with providers in creating value-based contracts, arrangements, and joint ventures. 

Mike is the chair of the Nelson Mullins Value Based Care Group. Throughout his legal career, Mike has practiced in a business management environment. For more than 25 years, he has been heavily involved in the creation and representation of large single specialty and multi-specialty physician groups. He also has considerable experience in structuring all varieties of healthcare joint venture transactions, while keeping in mind the various regulatory issues. Additionally, he acts as general and special counsel to hospitals, large medical groups, and other medically related businesses.
