9th Annual Interdisciplinary Conference on Orthopedic Value-Based Care

Hosted by: American College of Perioperative Medicine

Nelson Mullins partners Ed WhiteMike Segal, and Heather Miller will be attending the 9th Annual Interdisciplinary Conference on Orthopedic Value-Based Care. The conference runs April 3-5, 2025 and will be held at the Waldorf Astoria in Dana Point, CA.

The Orthopedic Value-Based Care (OVBC) conference brings together orthopedic professionals, healthcare executives, and innovators to collaborate on value-based care and musculoskeletal health. This year’s focus is on preparing for the 2026 CMS mandatory bundle, which includes lower joint surgery, hip fractures, spinal fusion, CABG, and colorectal procedures.

OVBC offers a practical, solutions-oriented approach to help professionals adapt to the evolving healthcare landscape and CMS changes. The conference will provide actionable tools and strategies with two key boot camps:

  • The TEAM bundle featuring CMMI representatives
  • Perioperative care in 2025

Ed White will also be presenting two insightful sessions on Saturday, April 5th:

  • 10:50 AM – 11:10 AM: "Using A Value-Based Enterprise to Integrate Orthopedic Surgeons and Primary Care"
  • 11:40 AM – 12:00 PM: "Using a Value-Based Enterprise to Implement Gainsharing Programs"
