Nelson Mullins Team Acts as Lead Counsel to Digibee in $25M Series A Round Led by Softbank
Nelson Mullins partners Jackson Hwu and Caio Prado, and associate Rebecca Lester provided legal counsel for Digibee as it raised $25 million in a Series A equity round. Digibee is a low-code Brazilian SAP startup whose business involves integrating large business systems into the digital world through cloud computing and server integration. This Series A investment will help Digibee expand in to other countries throughout Latin America, and the U.S.
Founded in 2017, Digibee has developed a solution to connect different systems of a client’s applications, servers, data, cloud, devices, and partner ecosystems. By raising $25 million in its Series A round, the company could potentially attract more investors.
Jackson Hwu co-chairs the firm’s Latin America practice. He advises high potential start-up and emerging growth companies primarily from Brazil, Latin America, and Florida in corporate structuring, venture capital financing rounds, acquisitions, board matters, and exits.
Caio Prado provides strategic business–oriented advice to high–growth companies and investors as they face legal and business challenges. He focuses his practice on emerging growth and venture capital financings, private equity, and mergers and acquisitions.
Rebecca Lester advises multinational corporations, emerging growth companies, and venture capital investors in a variety of transactions, including private equity, financings, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate matters.
