As the FinTech University series continues, join the chair of Nelson Mullins FinTech and Regulation Practice, Richard Levin, and Nelson Mullins attorneys Jason Epstein, Kevin Tran, and Mallory Acheson for this one-hour session, "FinTech and the Metaverse." They will provide an overview of the metaverse, as well as a survey of legal concerns to consider when dealing with it.
Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit will be sought for all attorneys who request such, and certificates of attendance are available for CPE purposes. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.
Levin chairs the firm's FinTech and Regulation Practice. He advises clients on corporate, FinTech, securities, and regulatory issues.
Epstein is the co-head of the firm's technology and procurement industry group. He provides legal services to buyers and sellers of technology both domestically and internationally in various industries, from FinTech and HealthIT to auto and manufacturing.
Tran assists clients in matters related to financial regulatory, FinTech, corporate and securities issues.
Acheson focuses on privacy and security compliance, technology transactions, and the intersection of data and electronic discovery issues. She helps clients navigate domestic and internal privacy laws, including CCPA/CPRA, GDPR, TCPA, HIPAA, and GLBA.
