Experience

  • Has served as regional counsel for automotive clients and has appeared on behalf of her clients in state and federal courts in South Carolina, Arizona and New Jersey
  • Served as national product liability counsel for a manufacturer of home appliances
  • In addition to South Carolina state and federal courts, handled product liability cases in Canada and Alabama, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, and Wisconsin in state and/or federal courts
  • Involved in cases for the hospitality industry, including violent crime and premises liability cases in Georgia, Missouri, Nevada and South Carolina
  • Experience in product liability litigation, including accident reconstruction, metallurgy, design, biomechanics, manufacturing processes, and warnings
  • Has defended product liability cases involving heavy construction equipment and commercial steel equipment
  • Has tried two cases to verdict for U.S. food service suppliers and one case to verdict for an advertising company
  • Appeared before and tried cases in the South Carolina counties of Richland, Horry, Lexington, Bamberg, Orangeburg, and Charleston
