He has managed hundreds of commercial and product liability cases for pharmaceutical and medical device clients in state and federal courts throughout the country, ranging from pre-suit counseling, electronic discovery, discovery, dispositive motion practice, trial, and appeal.
Matt has extensive experience coordinating complex and strategic discovery and trial matters for national litigation. In this capacity, he has deposed central fact and expert witnesses, written and argued dispositive and other pre-trial motions, prepared and defended corporate and expert witnesses, and prepared witnesses to testify before a federal grand jury and at trial.
Matt spends a significant percentage of his practice developing expert witnesses to opine in complex pharmaceutical, medical device, and commercial cases, deposing opposing-party expert witnesses, coordinating national and case-specific expert defenses and challenges, preparing experts for trial testimony, and developing cross examination of opposing-party expert witnesses.
