  • Organized and assisted with due diligence on behalf of a real estate company in its acquisition of the real property associated with approximately 40 nursing home and assisted living facilities and the simultaneous transfer of operations of the same.
  • Assisted with due diligence on behalf of a premier financial institution in multiple transactions involving nursing homes and assisted living facilities to provide important healthcare regulatory guidance to deal team members.
  • Researched and drafted client-directed memorandums that provide strategies in maintaining compliance with the Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, and other key federal and state healthcare laws and regulations.
  • Drafted policies and procedures related to abortion protocols for a Florida-based healthcare system.
  • Conducted a multi-state review of the laws and regulations governing surrogate healthcare decision making for a regional home healthcare agency.
  • Assisted with due diligence to prepare for the sale of a rural hospital system.
  • Assisted healthcare regulatory partners in counseling health care organizations on compliance program effectiveness.
  • Drafted and submitted preliminary registration filings for a Massachusetts-based non-profit organization.
