  • Has advocated for and monitors public policy primarily in areas of health, insurance, education, mental health, and child welfare by attending meetings and forums held by various Georgia governmental departments and agencies, such as the Department of Community Health, Department of Public Health, Department of Education, Department of Juvenile Justice, and the Department of Human Resources
  • Has served as a senior paralegal in the healthcare group, assisting the group's practice on certificates of need, regulatory work and other general corporate work relating to healthcare clients
  • Researches legal issues and drafts pleadings, including answers, removal papers, discovery requests and responses, and pretrial orders; coordinates document productions and depositions; and prepares litigation matters for hearings and trials
