Prior to joining Nelson Mullins, Emmit worked as an associate litigator at two top-tier regional firms where he earned the following experience:

  • Participated in complex litigation matters, including second chair trial and deposition experience.
  • Managed a wide range of clients, including Fortune 500 companies, during litigation involving multi-million dollar amounts in controversy.
  • Successfully negotiated the resolution of a variety of litigation matters.
  • Participated in several types of alternative dispute resolution, including mediation, arbitration and multi-party settlement conferences.
